Opera baru saja merilis versi terbaru browsernya yaitu Opera 11.60, terdapat beberapa peningkatan fitur dibanding dengan versi opera 11.50 , memang disadari atau tidak mulai opera 11.50 kecepatan
browser ini dalam melakukan loading web bisa dibandingkan dengan google
chrome dan bahkan kemampuannya masih bisa dipercepat dengan mengaktifkan
fitur turbo.
dalam versi terbarunya ini ada fitur yang belum dimiliki browser lain yaitu opera voice yang bisa membuat seolah-olah browser ini bisa berbicara, dengan kemampuan membaca teks yang kita highlight dan kemudian mengaktifkan fitur ini dengan klik kanan
nantinya
dengan sendirinya akan muncul suara yang membaca teks yang kita
maksudkan, pembaca teks ini masih berlogat inggris jadi akan terdengar
lucu jika teks yang dibaca adalah teks bahasa Indonesia, suara yang
keluar bisa diatur akan suara laki-laki atau suara perempuan. cara
mengaktifkan fitur ini adalah blok dulu kalimat yang akan dibaca lalu
klik kanan dan sorot pada "speak" jika belum terinstal fitur ini nanti
akan otomatis mengarahkan untuk donlor, lakukan download plugin yang
dimaksud, ukuran kurang lebih 10 Mb, saran saya sebelum donwload lebih
baik download accelerator misal IDM tidak diaktifkan untuk browser opera
agar donwload bisa berjalan dengan browsernya langsung dan setelah
selesai secara otomatis akan terinstal dalam browser, lain halnya di
jika di download menggunakan IDM, kita tidak tahu dimana nanti
meletakkan folder intalasi plugin ini.
setelah
terinstal lakukan seting di menu - setting - preferences - advanced -
voice dan aktifkan atau centang pada pilihan "Enable voice-controlled
browsing" pengaturan lebih lanjut bisa dilakukan di tab Details. dan
opera 11.60 sudah siap membacakan teks apapun untuk anda dengan cara
blok kalimat yang ingin dibacakan dan klik kanan - klik speak.
fitur
lain adalah penerjemahan teks/kalimat yang bisa dilakukan seperti cara
diatas, namun masih terbatas untuk bahasa inggris, jerman, prancis,
italia, portugis, spanyol dan jepang. cara kerja translate ini pun nanti
hanya akan dilink kan ke yahoo babel fish, translatornya yahoo.
